  • Day 1: ARRIVE DELHI

    On arrival in Delhi: Aahilya Holidays Tour Representative who will be waiting to greet you with a paging board with your name on.

    You are then transferred to your hotel and assisted with check in.

    Your hotel vouchers will be issued and given to you on arrival.

    The rest of the day is at leisure to relax or pursue independent activities.

  • Day 2: DELHI

    Breakfast is at the Hotel.

    After breakfast, you will enjoy full day sightseeing tour of Old Delhi visiting Chandni Chowk, you also have opportunity to visit Jama Mosque and visit Red Fort. Then, visit Raj Ghat, Rajghat, Mahatma Gandhi's last rituals were performed on 31st January, 1948.

    Lunch will be at local restaurant at direct payment basis. Our travel guide will advise you suitable restaurant depending on your preferences.

    After Lunch, you will enjoy half day sightseeing tour of New Delhi, which reflects the legacy the British left behind.

    The tour to Imperial Delhi will start by visit to the Qutab Minar,then visit Humayun’s Tomb. The tour also includes a drive past the imposing India Gate, the Parliament building & the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the President’s residence.

  • Day 3: DELHI - AGRA

    After breakfast, at an appropriate time, you will drive to Agra [206 Kms: 4.5 Hrs]

  • Day 4: AGRA - JAIPUR

    Today, at an appropriate time, you will visit the Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday)

    After visiting Taj Mahal drive to Jaipur [222 Kms: 5.5 Hrs] enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri & Abhaneri Stepwells

    Later continue drive to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and check-in t your hotel

  • Day 5: JAIPUR

    Breakfast is at the Hotel.

    After breakfast, you will drive just outside Jaipur to the ancient capital of Amber to see the fabulous Amber Fort En-route to Amber, you will stop and see the ‘Palace of Winds’, otherwise known as Hawa Mahal.

    In the afternoon begin with the City Palace. Then walk to the adjacent Jantar Mantar also called Astronomical Observatory made by the Maharaja of Jaipur, built in 1726 and is one of the five such astronomical wonders constructed by Sawai Jai Singh and makes accurate predictions even to this day.

  • Day 6: JAIPUR

    Rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy independent activities [Car and Driver will be at disposal for entire day]

    1. Visit to Jaigarh Fort – The fort was built by Sawai Jai Singh II sometime in the early 18th century amidst the arid, rocky and thorn-scrub covered hills. Despite its ancient construction, it still retains most of its imposing citadel appearance. Visitors can see the world’s largest cannon – Jaiban, at the fort.

    2. Visit to Nahargarh Fort - Nahargarh, which means abode of tigers, was a formidable barrier, defending Jaipur against attacking enemies. Within its walls, the fort houses Madhavendra Bhawan, the summer destination for the members of the royal family. Built by Sawai Madho Singh, the palace has 12 matching boudoirs for the queens, at the head of which is a suite for the king.

    4. Hot Air Ballooning [Subject to Availability] - One of the most exciting activities to indulge in Jaipur. Fly over the mighty forts and palaces and enjoy a bird’s eye view of Jaipur as you take this ride.

    5. Excursion to Sanganer [Approx. 17 kms / 45 Mins one way]- Sanganer is famed for textile block printing, papermaking and Jaipur blue pottery.

    6. Visit to Albert Museum in Jaipur - The building gets its name from The Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the inspiration for its design. Prince of Wales laid the foundation stone of the building in 1876. The museum displays a wide range of metal objects, wood crafts, carpets, stone and metal sculptures, arms and weapons, natural stones and ivory goods.

  • Day 10: UDAIPUR

    Breakfast is at the Hotel.

    After breakfast, you will visit City Palace. Built in 1725, the grand City Palace is actually a conglomerate of eleven palaces overlooking the sprawling Lake Pichola. Then proceed to Jagdish Temple. Built in 1651 by Maharaja Jagat Singh, this temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is located in the centre of the old city. The temple has a black marble image of Lord Vishnu, which is unusual for the northern part of the country, where statues of Gods are normally in marble. Also visit Sahelion-ki –badi.

    Late afternoon, you will enjoy boat ride on Lake Pichola.

    1. Visit to Vintage Car Museum: It is a private collection of vintage cars of the House of Mewar - the world’s longest serving dynasty. The Vintage & Classic Car Collection is a landmark in the city of Udaipur ever since it was inaugurated in February 2000. The grand limousines and cars showcased in the Collection belong to the House of Mewar and are still in perfect running condition. Visitors are privy to the display of the magnificent Rolls-Royce, 1939 Cadillac open convertibles, rare Mercedes models, 1936 Vauxhall and 1937 Opel models. The Collection has been curated for the benefit of vintage car -lovers from India and all over the world; it is probably the only collection of its kind in India about which the global and Indian press has written reams.

    2. Monsoon Palace: The Monsoon Palace, also known as the Sajjan Garh Palace, is a hilltop palatial residence in the city of Udaipur, Rajasthan in India, overlooking the Fateh Sagar Lake. It is named Sajjangarh after Maharana Sajjan Singh of the Mewar Dynasty, who built it in 1884.

    1. Excursion of Chittaurgarh Fort: The Chittorgarh Fort is the imposing structure atop a hill of 300 m which has many palaces and monuments. Chittorgarh Fort is located 115 Kms from Udaipur and it takes about 02 hrs drive one way. Inside the large fort, is a road that connects the different gates, viz. the main gate or Ram Pol, Padan Pol, Bhairon Pol, Hanuman Pol, Ganesh Pol, Laxman Pol and Jodla Pol. These gates were built for security and fortification of the area. There are around 84 water bodies and many small palaces, important ones being Rana Kumbha Palace, Rani Padmini’s Palace, etc.

    After breakfast, you will visit Dhaaravi- well known slum area of Mumbai. On this tour, we will see why Dhaaravi is the heart of small scale industry in Mumbai. Many people know Dhaaravi as the 'largest slum in Asia', but there is much more to this historic area of Mumbai than poverty. Dhaaravi industries have an annual turnover of approximately US$ 665 million. Through this tour, we will experience a wide range of these activities: recycling, pottery-making, embroidery, bakery, soap factory, leather tanning, poppadum-making and many more. Most of these things are created in innovative ways and in very small spaces. While passing through the residential spaces, we will feel the sense of community and spirit that exists in the area. People from all over India live in Dhaaravi and this diversity is apparent in the temples, mosques and churches that stand side by side. A tour through Dhaaravi’s narrow alleys is quite an adventure and we will leave with an enlightened sense of the purpose and determination that exists in the area.

    At the end of a tiring day of sightseeing, relax with the locals on the beaches of Juhu and Marine Drive, and watch the sunset.

    After breakfast participate in Dabbawala Tour, Mumbai introduces you to “lunchpail-man” or the “Dabbawala” an organization with more than 100 years old delivery system that collects hot food in lunch boxes from the residences of customers in different offices and timely delivery to their respective offices. Using various modes of transports as bicycles, local trains Mumbai, Dabbawalla has undisputed reputation of 100 percent delivery irrespective of weather and climate. They have been subject of thesis and studies of many world class management institutes and universities for their coding and accurate delivery. Thus Dabbawala Tour, Mumbai offer an opportunity to closely monitor and observer their working.

    The word "Dabbawala" can be interpreted as "box-carrier" or "lunchpail-man". The word Dabbawala means a person who carries and delivers freshly made food from home in lunch boxes to office workers. You will see how Dabbawalas board the Dabbas(Lunch Boxes) in the wooden carte in the Train.Most of the Dabbawalas get down at Mahalaxmi Stn all the Offices are close to the this railway stn here the Dabbawals sorting outt their Tiffin boxes as per the area wise. A brief introduction here will be given to guests with the dabbawalas and their exact arrangements how the tiffin's are coded and distributed at the right place at the right time. We will drive to Chruchgate Station, where Dabbawalas taking out their dabba carriages and carry them on their head to one place where they do the re - arrangement of tiffins as per the destination area and building.

    Schedule:

    10.30 AM : Pick up from your hotel

    You will be picked up by our representative at around 10.30 from your Mumbai address provided to us by you. Then we will drive to Churchgate. If you are residing in a suburb hotel than the pick-up time will be at 09.30 AM.

    11:00 AM : Chruchgate railway station

    Reach Churchgate railway station where you will see the Dabbawalas boarding the Dabbas through the wooden cart in the Train.

    11 : 30 AM : Board the local train from Churchgate

    At Churchgate station you will see the commuters standing in a queue to buy the tickets of the local train. Now the guests will escorted towards the platform to board the local train for Maha Laxmi Station. Local Train are the major means of transport in Mumbai. The extensive network of Railways has three lines, namely the Western Line, the Central Main Line and the Harbour Line. Being a linear city, Mumbai is totally covered by local train network.

    01: 00 PM : Arrive Mahal Laxmi Station

    Arrive at Mahalaxmi Railway station commercial area of Mumbai where all the offices are near to the railway station. Here the ‘Dabbawals’ organize their boxes as per the area. Our guide will give you a brief introduction as how the Dabbawals arrange the boxes with coding and they get it distributed at the right place on the right time. This is one of the finest management systems you will see.

    01:30 PM : Visit Dhobi Ghat

    Now the Dabbawala tour will come to an end and you will escorted out from the Maha Laxmi station. The guests will proceed to Dhobi Ghat (Open air laundry of Mumbai). Visit Dhobi Ghat and see the largest open air laundry.

    02:00 PM: Tour terminates at your hote

    Your Dabbawala tour terminates here as we drop you to your hotel after a half day tour in Mumbai

  • Day 15: DEPART MUMBAI

    Breakfast is at hotel.

    Today, at an appropriate time, you will be transferred to Delhi airport to connect with your flight back home.
